How do I save a recipe?
From any website, TikTok, Instagram post or screenshot, tap Share and pick HOTDISH. In the app, tap + in Recipes to paste a link, take a photo of a cookbook page or a recipe card, or type it in. You can also import a whole collection from a file.
How do I share HOTDISH with my partner?
In Settings, tap Invite to your household and send the link. They join with the code, and you share one recipe book, one week and one list. Invites last 7 days.
What's the difference between Free and Plus?
Free helps with every dinner you pick: tap a night and HOTDISH completes the meal. Plus plans the whole week for you, reads anything you save without limits, and works in ChatGPT and Claude. Plus is $5.99 a month or $39.99 a year for the whole household. More about Plus.
How do I cancel Plus?
If you subscribed in the app, cancel in your iPhone’s Settings: tap your name, then Subscriptions. If you subscribed on the web, use the link in your receipt email, or email us. You keep Plus until the end of the period you paid for, and you keep all your recipes after.
A timer or reminder didn't go off.
Check that notifications for HOTDISH are on in your iPhone’s Settings, and that a Focus mode isn’t holding them. Then email us with the time it should have gone off, and we’ll look.
How do I connect ChatGPT or Claude?
In HOTDISH, open Settings, then ChatGPT & Claude, and follow the link for the one you use. You’ll sign in to HOTDISH once to connect. It’s part of Plus.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: Settings, then Delete account at the bottom. It deletes your account, your photos and, if you’re the last person in your household, its recipes, plans and list. It can’t be undone. If you pay for Plus through the App Store, cancel that in your iPhone’s Settings too. What’s deleted and what stays.
How do I leave the waitlist or get a copy of my data?
Use the unsubscribe link in any waitlist email, or email us and we’ll remove you. For a copy of your data, email us from the address on your account. Your privacy choices.
How do I report someone or something?
In the app, use Report on the post, photo or profile, and Block if you don’t want to see that person again. On a shared recipe page, use the Report link at the bottom. Or email us. We look at every report within 24 hours. Our community rules.
Is your recipe or photo on a HOTDISH link?
People can send each other recipes they’ve saved in HOTDISH. Each shared page credits and links to the original, is kept out of search engines, and never shows a blog’s photos. If you’re the creator and you’d rather your recipe not be shared this way, email support@heyhotdish.com with the HOTDISH link (heyhotdish.com/r/…) and a link to your original. We take the page down, usually within one business day. No legal notice needed.
